The 6th International Symposium on Aero-aqua Bio-Mechanisms (ISABMEC2014)
was closed in great success on 16th November 2014. We sincerely appreciate
kind cooperations and contributions of all of the attendees and everyone
concerned to the symposium. We are really pleased to inform that total
77 persons gathered for the symposium from 7 countries, i.e. Germany, Israel,
Japan, Korea, Netherland, Taiwan, and USA. There were 49 oral presentations
including 6 keynote lectures and 12 poster presentations covering various
research fields such as biomechanics in flying and swimming, biological
systems and materials, and biomimetic robots. It's a great pleasure and
honor for us to provide good opportunities to establish friendships and
to promote academic exchanges as well as to make good memories. The next
ISABMEC will be held three years later although it has not yet been planned
in detail. We are greatly expecting lots of researchers will come together
again from all over the world.
